Jazoo Yang

Over the past decade, Yang(b, 1979, KOREA) has actively worked across various countries, primarily in Europe, engaging in painting, installation, performance, projects, and live painting, without limiting herself to specific locations or genres. The artist extensively collects unconventional materials from the places she stays and applies them differently in each series. The narrative begins with the materials themselves and the act of transferring them. Her work is not just a visual result but an autobiographical record, intertwining her inner self, auditory and bodily gestures, and tactile sensations of her hands, completed through her dedication and the traces it leaves behind.
